View Full Version : 2007 - 8 season outlook
I know that this is premature and there are moves still to be made. Assuming that our players in the draft are not going to be immediate impact players is our team more competitive now than last season???
I think our defense is more copetitive but our offense will hinge on the performance of last years injured starters(Hass Shaun) not to mention our offensive line.

Really cant discuss this yet remember last year at this team the Team seemed to make good moves and were going to be more competitve it wasnt until the injuries started piling up until the team had issue. Plus pre draft and with a number of FA unsigned yet I do not think there is anyway you can make a good guess at this

If everyone stays fit theres no reason why we cant be a force. Last year with an injury list as long as your arm we were 10 yards from the NFC championship game. With an improved defense and hopefully Matt and Shaun back to full strength well be fine. Plus I think our FO have got a few tricks up their sleeve yet for the draft.
more competitive than last year just due to the fact they will not have as many serious injuries (they cant right?) offense should be better than last year due to hass and shawn having better years o-line should be more consistent concern is still the defense d-line secondary need help recent additions will help but are they enough is the question again though NO ONE in the NFC is scary hawks can beat them all
Ive gotta agree with cramer here. The Hawks seem to be making some good moves but the division is shaping up to be pretty tough this season. Itll probably come down to the wire this year maybe even a wildcard coming out of the NFC West .

guessing that 9-7 will not win the division this year.

guessing that 9-7 will not win the division this year. Id say that is pretty much a sure bet. Id take it further and say that 10-6 might only be good enough for a wildcard birth. The Niners are already the trendy pick to win the NFC West this year (by at least two National Writers) and Ive even seen one opine that the Niners are the odds on favorite to win the NFC. Im not sure Im ready to go that overboard on them but they are at least a 9-7 or 10-6 possibility. So Seattle will have to go 10-6 and win the head to head matchup to be NFC West champs for the 4th year in a row.
