"What players does SEA need to be able to get back to the Super Bowl or even to ""win forever""?
SEAs
D is not too shabby.
Their O is shabby.
TJ is not an elite QB but should be adequate for a WCO thats in sync with a run-game and an OL that can both run & pass-block.
QB: CWs contract is up - not sure hes coming back. TJs contract goes another year.
If SEA is gonna continue with Bevels WCO do we need another savvy & accurate
QB to back him up for a year before taking over the reins (GBs M.Flynn?) or does J.Portis fill that role?
If Luck Barkley and Griffen are gone before SEA drafts do they draft K.Moore later or go yet another year with what they have?
DL: SEAs DL
is very good at defending the run (ranks 1st) but is
not so good
at getting pressure on the passer (ranks 19th).
A pass-rushing specialist 3-tech for 2nd & 3rd and longs and a younger
and faster Leo seems needed to reduce the time our
secondary has to cover.
Seems the QBs were facing are good enough that their QB Ratings improve when we blitz them.
Got to be able to get more pass-pressure with the front 4.
CB: Is Trufant ever gonna be healthy again?
W.Thurmond? Are
our starting and backup secondary
youngsters
savvy enough to recognize and stay with at least the NFCW receivers?
Experience should improve SEAs pass D (ranks 20th).
RB: Is M.Lynch a free agent in 12 or 13?
If its 12 SEA probably needs another pounder-type RB.
When Lynch is injured SEA needs a comparable replacement for him anyway.
Is Forsett coming back?
STs:
SEAs STs ranks 28th.
Kicking is average but coverage has been awful.
With so many starters out the backups (coverage players) are starting and are either not available for playing on the coverage team or are not getting enough practice.
