Thread: What's your opinion on Tarvaris Jackson?

  1. #31

don't mean to go off topic, but...

I just heard (on some news program) A. Rodgers saying that Flynn is looking at Miami, or Seattle.? I don't know enough about him to throw my hat into the ring. As scary as it sounds, we may have to live with Jackson for another season? Also...concerning our reciever's, I think we look really good, although Rice did NOT impress me!!!! And lastly, If they don't resign Marshawn "BEAST MODE" Lynch...I will be extremely disappointed! He is the "fire" in the belly, this team needs. Thanks...later........

I'm not a jackson hater, nor am I a big fan of him. I do think he has a lot of positive attributes though. He's tough, has a great arm and throws a pretty accurate pass. He also has a great attitude. His only problem as far as I can see is that he holds on to the ball too long too much of the time. I wouldn't be too upset if they gave him another year with some quality coaching and see what he can do while he's completely healthy.

He is not our QB for the future. Thats all that you need to know. TJax, Matt, the result would have been the same. We saved a lot of money by cutting him loose. It would now appear that the Peyton Follies are between Denver (90 Mil? TOO MUCH) and Tennessee, Matt may be looking for another team. Or retiring!

We need an answer at this position and fast no leadership, no motivation, no winning seasons....need a QB I think so

    Well, what a ya know...

I am glad we signed a QB, which is one thing I was counting on the Hawks doing. My only hope is he leaves T.J. in the dust.
    WELCOME ABOARD MATT. Let's Rock-n-Roll in 2012!

He is not going to play for a team without at least a four year contract loaded with millions and millions of guaranteed dollars. He's also not going to settle for mentoring a young future hot-shot. He will not stand for a back-up who's intention is to push him out the door. He's the ultimate prima-donna. He's a team player if the team is all about him.
If he was concerned with simply winning, he would have gone to SF. He didn't because Harbaugh is a strong willed guy who expects a QB to do it his way. Manning wants it all his way. He'll get it all his way in Denver.

    How right was I?
