And they hope that they have done some of that with their recent moves. It would not be a prudent move to simply cut Jackson and be left only with unproven alternatives. No matter what you think, Flynn is an unproven player. He has one outstanding game on his resume. That's not enough to completely rely on at this point.

If you think about it, you'll probably agree with me.

Sometimes it did and sometimes it didn't.

I would put my money on Flynn being alot better than "T-Jack".

I am as frustrated with Jackson as about anybody else. When Seattle picked him up last year and named him the starter I was crying foul. He's not a quality starter in the nfl. We don't know yet whether Flynn will be either but to just let Jackson go would be stupidity. He knows the offense, he does have a good work ethic and if Flynn turns out not to be the goods than he is better than every other option out there at present. Cutting him would be sheer idiocy and won't happen.

You can tell that after two starts? You think Flynn poses no risk?

At least there is another rational and reasonable person here.

No. I think that there is some risk, but I think that the risk is better than "T-Jack". Now Flynn could go out there and flop..we all know that, but look where he comes from. I think that we could get someone better that "T-jack" to back him up. Might as well start now.

Jackson knows the offense man, what other QB out there can you name right now that would be better suited as a backup than him?

Richard Bartel, Charlie Batch, Kyle Boller, Mark Brunell, Kellen Clemens, Kerry Collins, Jake Delhomme, Dennis Dixon, A.J. Feely, Max Hall, Caleb Hanie, Josh Johnson, Byron Leftwich, Matt Leinart, J.P. Losman, Luke McCown, Donovan McNabb, Kevin O'Connel, Curtis Painter, Ryan Perriloux, Vince Young.

Aside from MAYBE Vince Young (and that's a big big maybe, he has the physical talent but he's kind of a head case though a proven winner), what other QB do you see as a better backup from that list?

Draft wise Seattle won't get one of the better QBs and since they haven't Resigned Hawthorne they will need to look at LBs with their higher picks. Which will probably eliminate the option of Tannehil, Cousins, Osweiler, Weeden, Wilson, and Foles.

No Jackson will be the backup and at this time is the best option.

I still think that the Seahawks should draft a QB, but not in the earlier rounds.
