I don't doubt that in the slightest.. look what Favre was able to do. But he should have known what he had in Jackson and tried to avoid bringing him in.

What better choice was there out there at the time? At least Jackson had toughness and knowledge of the playbook. There was no better option except keeping Hasselbeck and that o-line couldn't have protected Matt all season long.
The other choice would have been Kolb, who's received $19mil bucks so far from AZ, for what, 7 games? Even Brees and Brady don't get paid that much per game. TJax was a pretty good pickup for 4 mil a year if you ask me.
I don't understand the mentality that so many fans seem to have that "if you don't have a top10 qb, throw them in the gutter"
I think it would depend if somehow Tannehill fell to the 2nd round or Osweiler fell to the 3rd... Otherwise, for team chemistry I don't like the idea of cutting T Jack after he played hurt and was team captain to dump him for one of the lower tier QBs in the draft. Also, only having 6 picks makes it more difficult to select a QB in this draft. I think half the league got compensatory picks and most still have their 7 selections to boot.
Gentlemen remember TJack played most of the season with a torn pectoral muscle. I didnt hear any whining coming from him about his injury . Dudes a stud in my opinion and has potential. Now that Flynn is in Seattle maybe he will play that much better. Sure Flynn has great numbers , but hes only played in 2 games that mean anything. One of the games the last of the season , Detroit had allready made the playoffs so how many starters were on the field when he threw for 580 yards and 6 tds? I think we have needs at the LB positions so drafting a Qb in my opinion would take away from what the team truly needs.
I'm fairly certain that Detroit did want to win that game, it being the difference between the 5th or 6th seed in the nfc. Plus the starters for the Lions did play the whole game (Stafford put up 520 yards and 5 touchdowns, you better beleive they wanted to win and played their starters)
It is a small window of games played, but Flynn has the potential to be a far better quarterback than Jackson. I won't take anything away from Jackson toughing it out, but Seattle needs more than just a tough QB, it needs one that can progress through his reads.
I would have to agree that Flynn has the potential to be a far better QB than Jackson. As I have said before "T-Jack" is not the QB Seattle needs to be the team we all want them to be plain and simple. I do also agree That Detriot did not throw that game. They played there butt's off and Greenbay played there bench. Yet Matt Flynn was just that good to steam roll Detriots D. I think we will all be happy with Flynn at the end of this season.
