What would you do with draft #'s 12, 43, and 76?

12. Kuechly > Ingram
A. Curry scared me from ever wanting the Seahawks to draft a LB with such a high pick, but Kuechly has some pretty insane stats and awards, and I think he really should be a top5-10 pick. Ingram, a potential "Elephant" LB/OLB could just prove to be just the super athlete like Curry was and Ingram is not supposed to do as well standing up. Is a hand down DE really a top need for the Hawks?

43. Nick Perry > Zack Brown
Probably too optimistic getting Perry here (and I think we're the #1 candidate to reach for him, even at #12), but also I'd be really happy drafting the top 2 true LBs in the draft with Brown.

73. Guard or RT
About as late as a decent one can be drafted. I really don't think the Seahawks are going to go to camp with 4 qbs this year. Maybe pull the trigger on Cousins if he's here?

We have addressed the needs of another Offensive lineman by signing whats his name from the Bears
Q.B Flynn and another running back in Lumpkin. A pass rushing specialist in Jones who can play DT or End.
so Number 12 pick will probably a linebacker that can play the middle with Hawthorne not signed OR a Wideout like Floyd. We could move up and try to grab
Blackmon which would be an awesome thought.
And DT Poe might be available there too which really stood out in the combine.There will be more Defensive ends available deep in the draft since it's deep in ends.
R.b. James would be a good second round addition. Speedy depth at defensive positions and sleeper Offensive lineman for more depth late in draft.We are getting deeper so we could trade a pick to move up too.

I would like to see the hawks draft another QB, but this is what I think they will do.
Round 1 - #12: David DeCastro, (OG, Stanford)
Round 2 - #43: Josh Robinson (CB-Central Florida)
Round 3 - #76: Cameron Johnson (DE-Virginia)

Like Kuechly at 12 and hope they don't gamble on Coples..., not sure Perry would be there at 43. Maybe a Shea McClellin? At 76 the only CBs are kinda short, but Brandon Boykin can jump at least.

The more and more I look at Kuechly the more and more I like him.

Round 2- best available OLB
Round 3- Chris Polk

ROUND 1: DRE KIRKPATRICK (CB-Alabama)
Kirk is the prototype Pete Carroll corner, size, athletic ability who can face up against guys like Larry and presumably Blackmon. It's largely been glossed over how Seattle did vs QBs in the top half of the NFL last season. Big Ben had 298 yards passing, Matt Ryan 291, Eli 420 and Romo's 279 but largely relied on Murray's rushing. Hawks were fortunate that Vick and Cutler were injured in the season's second half. Didn't really face any top 15 QBs. I don't value a LB in the top 12 because free agency is proving their worth doesn't warrant taking one so high. I assume Coples will be off the board with this pick. Yes, this would be a Browner upgrade, but Brandon would still get plenty of playing time in modern offenses.

ROUND 2: Dont'a Hightower (ILB-Alabama)
Many mocks have him going last few picks in the 1st, but I'll take my chances and have him dropping to us.

ROUND 3: Cam Johnson (DE-Virginia)
Pass rusher that matches Pete's size requirement characteristics.

ROUND 4: Nick Toon (WR-Wisconsin)
Size, good speed, NFL pedigree being Al Toon's son. Big in the red zone for the Badgers in '11

ROUND 6: Bobby Rainey (RB-Western Kentucky)
Piled up great stats, catching and running threat. Sproles type.

ROUND 7: Josh Chichester (TE-Louisville)
6'7 tight end. Project fitting the copycat league w/ Jimmy Graham success

I really like Nick Toon and if he's available in the 4th round for the Seahawks picks that would be a winner

While I like the idea of Kirkpatrick in theory, making us probably the best secondary in the whole league, I question that if one of our CB's went to the probowl(browner), and another one that should have as well(sherman), isn't 5 probowl caliber starters in the secondary too...greedy(for lack of a better word)? Isn't it better to spread the talent around and draft position of need, when others seem so glaring?

1st rd. I would like to see Poe,Ingraham or DeCastro.
2nd rd. Hightower would be a steal in 2nd round but I think Kendricks will be the best ILB left on the board.

OK we keep TJ for backup for this year or work a trade to get our 5th round back. With #12 pick I like Coples, but i don't think he will be there when our turn comes, so im thinken we replace browner he's good but not great, So at #12 we get Stephon Gilmore CB from South Carolina 6'1" ran 40 in 4:40 vert 35" and stronger then Kirtpatrick, at # 43 Nick Perry OLB/DE 6'3" 271 40 in 4:64 38.5 vert and cross our fingers and hope he's steal there, at # 73 LaMichael James RB Oregon 5'8" 194 and as fast as rocket at 4:45 in the 40 and can catch coming out of the backfield.
