What do you think of the new-look Seahawks jersey?

I doubt he meant that Seattle belongs in college, but I do agree they look like college uniforms. I do agree that Hawthorne had nothing to do with the uniforms. That is like saying the beer is flat because the hot dogs are overpriced. I just want Seattle to win, period. If they came out in unitards but won, I would be happy. I would listen to the games rather than watch them, but would be happy!

Well said mthawks. You can have the best looking uniforms in the league but if you stink, no one is going to really care about the jersey. If the Seahawks organization is going to want to build their brand and sell lots of Seahawk jerseys and what have yuh, their going to have to do it through the Super Bowl with a 1st time ever victory and lets hope for some more. Thats all I care about as a fan and I'm sure most fans will agree. Winning is more important than updated uniforms. (IMAGE IS IMPROVED WITH WINNING)

Still deciding on the new uniforms. Like the color changes. The neon is a bit bright, should've stuck with a more traditional green, but not the end of the world. I'm apparently in the minority of disliking the new helmets. I like the logo being bigger, and the point in the back is kind of cool, I suppose. I would have liked to see them use a green instead of a grey, as a nod to the old logo, and I absolutely HATE the feather designs down the middle. Take that out, and you've got a nice looking helmet. Not a huge fan of the feathering around the collar either, but it's a unique tribute to the 12th man and effective on the pants.

Still think the best option would've been a silver helmet with the new, bigger, pointed logo and a green back end instead of the grey.

actually..i hate the new uniforms..the neon green looks is for aliens only! and who ever did the feathers, these DO NOT LOOK LIKE FEATHERS BUT BAT EARS.. and the ones displayed on the players numbers look like up side down bat ears!! good grief batman, dosen't the graphic dept know what feathers look like? now i see why tickets are soooo expensive to go to a game..

I don't like it at all. I still think the '02 home uniforms are the best looking NFL uniforms ever. No excuse for this change except a collosal mindfart on somebodies part.

Ok so my post about the new uniforms and hating them, coupled with my disapointment of Hawthorne not being resigned should have been two separate posts. I just dont understand why the teams leading tackler wasnt resigned. I'm not involved in the front office nor am I a water boy. Anyone thinking I was saying the uniforms are the reason why they didnt resign him is readin into the post farther than it being a run together post. Most disturbing as a fan this stat.

Not to get all nitpicky... wait I am. By that statement you are saying that you think they focused too much on a new look and not re-signing Hawthorne.

It doesn't really matter though, I agree with you about them not signing Hawthorne (check the topic I posted). But it wasn't a run-on post that led me to believe you thought they didn't sign Hawthorne because they were too focused on the new look.

i just called nflshop to order my new seahawk jerseys and they said they were not available yet because there still going over the logo (seahawk) on the jersey...... i hope they put the hawk back on , its the best logo in sports!!!!!
