What do you think of the new-look Seahawks jersey?

I was hoping they would bring back the silver helmet. So, I'm surprised that I actually like the new darker blue helmet with the new logo. I like the new grey uniform and pants too. I could do without the tulips (opps! I mean feathers). Good idea but poor execution on the twelve feathers.
I was also hoping they would get ride of the neon green. But with this being Nike, I new that was a pipe dream.
All in all, I think Nike could have done better- but could see these uniforms growing on me.

I am having a hard time with these uniforms. First, I care about winning more than what their wearing so let's get that out of the way. Second, I am a bit of a purist so when it came to the initial change years ago, I struggled but grew to like the new uni's. These are not my idea of cool. I know some people really like the "special" all green jerseys but I just about puked my guts up at that game so I am not the best person to comment. All in all, the uni's do not blow me away. I wish we got something special not more of the same. I fell like the Oregon ducks of the NFL and that just seems wrong. If you remember that scene in "The Crying Game", I want to take a shower because I feel dirty.

Nothing to really hate, not a lot to get excited about. I do like the wrap around logo on the helmet, but I am really dissappointed that we ended up with uniforms that look like a NCAA re-issue of the Ducks uniforms (the DuckHawks? SeaDucks?). The "feathers" are sad looking, but the nod to 12 is rather nice. A little too much of the neon green, maybe, although the trim around the numbers looks good. All in all a letdown in some ways but as I said, nothing to hate.

I don't really care for the new uniforms. I like what we had better. My opinion is it looks like were getting ready for a bad B rated movie. I do like the new helmits though. New uniforms are not going to win games. Either way though, I am always going to be a Hawks fan. Go Hawks!

The new uniforms stink out loud. There's two swooshes on the jersey, but not one Seahawks logo? On the bright side, I'll be saving $300 on authentic jerseys this year (because I won't need one of these).

Absolute garbage. The only consolation is that the Seahawks are so bad that we might not see them on the national stage until after the next uniform redesign. Complete utter garbage.

All in all I dont like em > I think the orginization spent far too much money for Todd Van Horne to spend two years putting these together.In my opinion any money spent toward these was a waste . The original logo was by far the closest thing to anything NorthWestern Indian then ever. I do like the helmet the Grey or Silver instead of the Baby blue is acceptable on the logo itself "minus the fact the back of the helmet drops to a point" .The addition of the helmet stripe is just plain stupid. If those are feathers I dont understand why they didnt just use feathers instead of some concept of what feathers are in dudes eyes. The biggest problem I have all in all is the fact they removed the Logo from the jersey. Now coupled with the Nike logo and the lack there of of a Seahawk logo on the sleeves they are ready to join the ranks of the USFL and Arena Football League. Really? perhaps the PAC 10 can add Seattle to their conference. Is this really happening? When it comes right down to it the uniform really doesnt matter . But its an era gone now the Hawk is gone. Kinda like when Tampa Bay actually got rid of the Buccaneer on their helmet and replaced it with a makeshift Disney lookin skull n cross bones. Hey Van Horne , its not the Seattle Thunderbirds! its the Seattle Seahawks.. of all the teams in the league Seattle is the only one to change their uniforms.I think the color change to the logo shoulda been statement enough. Why didnt they concearn themslves with resigning David Hawthorne instead?

I gotta say that other than the helmet I am not impressed. Maybe I am just old fashioned, but I don't see why the uniform was changed soo much. It almost feels like there is a college uniform theme to the uniforms and last time I checked, this is the NFL. I am happy however that they released a Kam Channcelor jersey, just wish it was done last year.

I like the Helmets. As far as the rest of the uniform goes I'll like them if we win. Undecided not sure if we are the Seattle Seaducks or not.

I think you are reading into this all a little too much there buddy. I doubt the new uniforms is what made Seattle not re-sign Hawthorne, and to say that the team belongs in college ranks because of them?
