October, with 3 away games looks to be the most challenging.
Looking at this schedule should give any good team a huge smile. This is a big break for the Seahawks. Lets take advantage of this gift and make a big run!!
The first half of the season has 5 away games. Thats 5 home games to finish things up. And one of those is on a neutral field!!
Carolina Panthers, Detroit Lions, Miami Dolphins, Chicago Bears, Buffalo Bills (in Toronto) and our own division. Those are the away games. Do they scare you? If we play to win I think we have a 14 win season.

WOW, that is a brutal schedule for a rebuilding team... Octobers tough... Thats being optimistic. September isn't any easier. Could very easily come out of September 1-3, maybe 2-2. Through in October and we are looking at 2-6, maybe 3-5. November = 3-8, December is probably going to be the toughest. We could very easily be 3-13. 5 and 11 at best. The stars are aligning for the Hawks to get Barkley. Then we should start seeing the finality of the rebuild, and a progression to competitiveness.

Old school, 14 wins? with potentially 10 teams on the schedule that are already preseason favorites to make the playoffs this year, before the draft. I don't mean to be rude, but... Thats almost funny!

I think like a winner. You think like a loser. The Seahawks organization will either think like me or think like you.

    September sets the Pace.

Dallas and the Packers back to back. At Home .
The tougher games we at least have a home field advantage. # 12
will be alive this year. 10-6 and a wildcard birth.

looking at the schedule, I would have to say October is the toughest part of the schedule. Detroit, New England and San Francisco in the same month as well as an ever improving Carolina team. Gonna be a long year, GO HAWKS. I will go out on a limb and make one bold prediction, WE WILL NOT BE IN THE BARKLEY RUNNING. We are going to win too many games.

I give the hawks right now a 10-6 record based on a competent QB and minimal injuries.

I must be looking at the wrong schedule.....14 wins? Even if all goes really well I doubt it. There is thinking like a winner and there is wishing. Honestly, we could go 3-7 in the first 10 games. We could go 7-3 in the first 10 games. The difference will be the offensive game plan (not so good so far) and how the defense gels (a lot of changes there). If Flynn turns out well then we have a better chance - as long as the O-line holds up. Far, far too many question marks on this team and some of those are in the coaching staff. If we hit 8-8 I would consider that good progress. Anything less than that and we have a problem.

If Seahawks can get a consistent pass rush then outlook looks better then last year. Barring injuries, I'd give them 8 wins with a consistent pass rush and secondary plays like last year, aggressive and opportunistic. Look at 49ers; mediocre offense but great defense and they won 13 games. Average passing game + good running game and a great defense (top 5) and I would give them another 2 games. That said, another violent runner would be a nice addition to Lynch.

I most fear teams in our division. If Cards ever figure out their QB situation and Rams pick wisely in the draft then I bet it will be a three way battle (49ers, Cards, Seahawks) with Rams winning 7 games minimum.
